Pickup from your hotel

You will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh by an air-conditioned vehicle and taken to Mount Sinai, which is approximately 220 kilometers away.

Climbing Mount Sinai

Upon arrival at Mount Sinai, you will start the climb to the summit at approximately 1:00 AM. The climb is approximately 7km walk then hiking 750 steps and takes about 3-4 hours. You will be accompanied by a Bedouin guide and will stop along the way to rest and refuel.

Along the way at the numerous huts that sell warm Egyptian tea, snacks and cold drinks.

At the summit, you will watch the sunrise over the mountains and deserts surrounding Mount Sinai. This is a truly magical experience and one that you will never forget.

Descent 

After admiring the beautiful sunrise, you will descend to the historic Saint Catherine Monastery.

Visit St. Catherine Monastery

The monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the world. The monastery is home to a number of important religious artifacts, including the Burning Bush, which is said to have spoken to Moses.

Transfer back to your hotel

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
