Give yourself the break you deserve with an 8 Days Easter Nile Cruise Holiday from On Trip Egypt. Our Egypt Nile Cruise Tours were created with passion for those who are as enthusiastic about travel as we are. Join us in Egypt travel packages as we visit some of Cairo’s most important historical sites, such as the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Take a short flight to Luxor, board a magnificent 5-Star Nile River cruise ship, and allow us to introduce you to all of the best ancient attractions in the timeless Nile River Valley as we walk in the footsteps of pharaohs and kings.
Our primary goal is to ensure that your luxury Nile cruise holiday in Egypt is flawless from start to finish, so when you arrive at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will be waiting to greet you. He will also arrange for your Egyptian entry visa and transport you in a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle to the 5-Star hotel where you will be staying while in Cairo.
When you arrive at your hotel, your tour manager will also check you in, and he will briefly discuss your Cairo day tours itinerary with you, as well as confirm pick-up times for your upcoming tours, before leaving you alone to enjoy the rest of the day as you wish. Enjoy a complimentary Welcome Drink on us, and get a good night's rest at your Cairo hotel.
After breakfast, one of our tour representatives will meet you at the hotel and drive you to the Giza Plateau to see one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, the famed Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. While at the Giza Necropolis, you will also visit the small but fascinating Solar Boat Museum.
Following this leg of your tour, you will be taken to a nice lunch at a high-quality restaurant.
After you've finished eating, your guide and driver will take you to see and explore the world-famous Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which houses over 120,000 fascinating artifacts. You will also have access to the Treasures Room, which houses all of the treasures and artifacts recovered from King Tutankhamen's tomb.
Following your visit to the Egyptian Museum, you will be driven to Cairo's Islamic Quarter, where you will spend time shopping at the famous Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. This is an excellent opportunity to shop for bargains and items such as spices that may not be readily available in your home country. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the bazaar, there are several cafes and restaurants. This charming bazaar was founded in the 14th century and is still going strong today.
Wake up to a hearty breakfast at your hotel, and then check-out at the time agreed upon, and your tour manager will escort you to the airport, where you will board a short flight to Luxor.
When you arrive at Luxor airport, another of our tour representatives will be waiting to greet you, and they will then accompany you to the port where you will board a 5-Star Nile River cruise ship.
You will be served an excellent on-board lunch shortly after boarding and checking in, and then you will disembark for a tour of Luxor's East Bank. You will first go to Karnak temple, the ruins of an ancient temple city. While the majority of this sprawling site is made up of ruins, there is still plenty to see. Karnak is, in fact, Egypt's second most visited ancient monument.
Following your visit to Karnak, you will be taken to Luxor Temple, an ancient temple that was never dedicated to any gods or goddesses. Spend some time exploring and photographing.
On day 4 of your Nile cruise vacation, wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast on the water before embarking on an excursion to the West Bank. The Valley of Kings, an ancient necropolis home to more than 60 ancient royal tombs, including King Tutankhamen's, is one of Egypt's most prized attractions. The incomparable 15th century mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut follows.
After exploring Queen Hatshepsut's temple, you will be returned to the ship for another delectable lunch. After lunch, the boat will leave Luxor and sail to Edfu, where you will have dinner and spend the night on board.
After another delicious breakfast on the boat, you will disembark for a brief but fascinating visit to ancient Edfu Temple, the best preserved temple in the ancient world.
You will then return to the ship, which will set sail for Kom Ombo. When you arrive in Kom Ombo, you will disembark once more and be taken to the Kom Ombo Temple. This temple is actually made up of two identical temples, each dedicated to a different God. One was constructed to honor Horus, the falcon God, and the other to honor Sobek, the crocodile God.
Following your visit to this incredible ancient site, you will return to the vessel, which will begin its Aswan day tours. Enjoy another delicious onboard lunch and dinner before sleeping in your waterside cabin in Aswan.
The sixth day of your Nile cruise vacation will begin with another delicious breakfast on the water, followed by a visit to the famous High Dam of Aswan, the absolutely unforgettable Philae Temple, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk. After your excursion, you will return to the ship in time for lunch, and the rest of the day is yours to spend as you please.
After a relaxing afternoon on the boat, another delicious dinner will be served in the evening, and you will spend the night on the water in Aswan.
Today is the last day of your Nile River cruise, but before you check out and disembark, enjoy another delicious breakfast on board the ship. It will be time for check-out and disembarkation shortly after breakfast, at which point you will be met by one of our tour representatives who will then accompany you to the airport where you will board a flight back to Cairo.
When you arrive at Cairo's airport, one of our tour managers will greet you and take you to the same 5-Star hotel where you stayed when you first arrived in Cairo for your 8-Day Nile cruise vacation. After you've checked in, you'll be free to spend the rest of the day however you want.
Nobody would blame you if you awoke today with a heavy heart, as today is the last day of your Nile River Cruise Holiday. However, before you leave, make sure you have a good breakfast at your hotel.
Your tour manager will meet you at the hotel later in the day at the appropriate time, assist you with check-out, and then accompany you to Cairo International Airport in time for your flight back home.
Our 8-Day Nile Cruise Holidays, like all good things, must come to an end, but you can be certain that this will be one vacation you will never forget. Thank you for entrusting your vacation needs to Luxor and Aswan Travel.
