Day 3: Cairo – Grand Egyptian Museum & Citadel Tour

Begins your day  with an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride offering panoramic views over Luxor’s ancient wonders. After breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus and known for its impressive pylon and well-preserved reliefs. Return to the cruise and sail toward Kom Ombo while enjoying lunch onboard. Early morning, you may choose an optional excursion to the majestic Abu Simbel Temples, carved into the mountainside and dedicated to Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. Alternatively, after breakfast, enjoy a relaxing visit to Aswan’s Botanical Gardens, known for their exotic plants and peaceful ambiance, followed by the Tombs of the Nobles, offering panoramic views and insights into ancient burial traditions. These optional tours depend on your flight schedule. Later, our On Trip Egypt representative will transfer you to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo.
