You will next go to Deir El Bahari to see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Once there, you will explore in Aswan day tours the Temple of Philae, which was built during the Graeco-Roman era and honors the goddess Isis (mother of the god Horus), after having enjoyed floating on the Nile River by motor boat till you arrived at Agilika Island.

Optional trip to Abu Simbel temples:

Check out a breakfast box from your ship. You will then be driven to Abu Simbel in a private A/C vehicle. When Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels hewn in the hills to the south, they first became aware of the original site, which was known as Meha in prehistoric times. This was during the 18th Dynasty. When you get there, you'll head over to the Ramses II-built Abu Simbel Temples. Ramesses II erected the first and largest temple, which was devoted to the revered deity Rahorakhty.
